The Diboll Lumberjacks defated the Mexia Blackcats to win the Bi-District Title Saturday in the second game of their best of three series over the Mexia Blackcats. The Jacks won the first game Friday night by a final of 7-2 and they clinched the series in a game two victory 8-2. The Jacks will square off with Liberty Hill this Thursday 5/8, evening in Corsicana, TX at 7p.m. This best of three series will be for the Area Title in Region III. Game two will be on Friday evening at 7p.m. If there is a need for a third contest it will take place on Saturday at 1p.m. Ticket prices will be $4 for adults and $2 for students. All DISD passes, Dist. 20 3A, 18 3A and Texas State Coaches Assoc. passes will also be honored. The Diboll Free Press will continue to update everyone on the Jacks run for the title.
