Funeral services for Ricky Lynn Reppond, 43, of Yazoo City, Mississippi, were held Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Mettlen officiating. Interment followed in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Reppond was born October 3, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas, to Lois (Sullivan) and David Odell Reppond, Sr., and died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Mr. Reppond lived in Huntington most of his life, and was self-employed as a sheet rocker. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Reppond of Huntington; mother, Lois Reppond of Diboll; sister and brother-in-law, Miriam and Dwayne Thornhill of Diboll; brother, David Odell Reppond, Jr. of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Connie Reppond of Diboll; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, David Reppond, Sr.; and sister, Lisa Gay Rodriguez. Pallbearers will be Justin Reppond, Brandon Reppond, Daniel Reppond and Matthew Reppond. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home, beginning at 10 a.m. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
