Services for LaNell Short, 79, of Sabine County, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill. Burial followed in King Cemetery in Milam.
Mrs. Short was born April 23, 1928 in Pendleton and died Jan. 25, 2007 after an illness.
She was a caregiver and worked in nursing homes and private care.
Survivors include daughters, Deborah Adkison, Charlene Neal, Donna Campbell, Truitta Short; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill was in charge of arrangements.
