ELLA WILLIAMS

Dec. 12, 1955 - Jan. 27, 2007

Ella Williams, 51, of the Forest Community, was born December 12, 1955, in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of the late Dana (Eagle) and James Adams. She passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007, in a Houston hospital.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was an artist and loved arts and crafts, crocheting, painting, cooking and reading. She was also an avid animal lover.

Survivors include her husband, Royce Williams of the Forest Community; children and their spouses, Jason and Lari Skelton of Lufkin, Teri and Pat Sprinkle of Pollok, Ryan and Jessica Williams of Hudson, and Amanda and Josh Moreno of Diboll; thirteen grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and William Fuller of Diboll; brother, Tony Adams of Lufkin; aunt, Joy Eagle of Lufkin; and other family members, David L. Skelton, Davina Skelton and Dee-Dee Kay. Preceding Mrs. Williams in death were her parents, James Adams and Dana (Adams) Williams; daughter, Dana McLeod; and sister, Paulette Ridgeway.

Services for Mrs. Williams were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend D.R. McNaughton officiating. Interment followed in the Sand Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tim Sprinkle, David Gibson, Ronnie Durham, Robert Willett, Daniel Oliver and Jerry Cook. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Burks and Mrs. Williams' grandchildren.
