Annual PD fundraiser set for March 3 at the Diboll Civic Center

The Diboll Police Department will be hosting it's annual fund raiser to benefit local organizations such as their scholarship fund, the Boys and Girls Cub of Diboll and the Diboll Even Start Program.

Diboll Police Chief Kent Havard said, “Since we have hosted this event, we have been able to give out 75 scholarships to graduating seniors. This benefit has been a positive way of reaching out to our youth and the community. “

The department will be hosting a Bingo Night at the Diboll Civic Center on Saturday, March 3, 2007.

Havard said, “We are asking for supporters to contribute as a $100 table sponsor. Contribute any dollar amount or provide gift certificates or merchandise for prizes. We hope you agree with our support plan and choose to help us. A kind donation to our benefit will help this be a successful one. What a wonderful opportunity for you to contribute and get some great advertisement! “
