Members of the Diboll Police Department are asking citizens for help in locating a subject wanted for aggrevated assault.
Ricardo Alanis, charged and convicted for the offense in Angelina County, failed to report for sentencing and has eluded police since 2003. There is an active warrant for his arrest at the Angelina County Sheriff;s Department. He was sentenced to eighteen years for this crime and failed to start that sentence.
Diboll Police Chief Kent Havard said, “This man needs to be apprehended and pay his debt to society and any information leading to his arrest could pay up to $1,000. This information should be reported to either the Diboll Police Department at 829-5586, Crimestoppers, or the Angelina County Sheriff's Department.
The last known address of Alanis is 303 Thompson in Diboll.
