Ana "Nana" (Pearl) Stilson

April 23, 1919 - Feb. 7, 2007

Funeral services for Ana (Pearl) "Nana" Stilson, 87, of Lufkin will be held Friday, February 9, 2007 at noon in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Douglas Murray and Miss Bernice Faber officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Stilson was born April 23, 1919, to Steve and Bertie (Smith) Reeves, and died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at her residence. She had lived in Lufkin most of her life and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Julie Stilson of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Dorothy and Manuel of Hearne, Steve and Branda Stilson of Franklin, DeLisa and Danny of Lufkin and Scott and Amanda Stilson of Texarkana; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William (W.E.) "Bid" Stilson in 1995; son, Billy Lynn Stilson in 1979; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be A. J. Flores, Steven Stilson, Michael Stilson, Alvin Reeves, Sonny Reeves and Doug Russell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Glass, D.J. Mosen, Danny Gardiner, Antwan Johnson and Tyler Stilson.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice in the Pines. The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
