BY MARY HOWELL - Library Staff

The Library will have an autograph reception Monday, February 19, from 4 to 6pm for Bob and Doris Bowman, authors of more than 35 books about East Texas. A portion of the book sales will go to the library fund. The Bowman's books cover a variety of subjects, including historic East Texas murders, ghost towns, histories of Lufkin and Angelina County, unusual East Texas people and places, home remedies, good ol' boy expressions, biographies of famous East Texans, places to eat, and East Texas Sunday drives. We hope that everyone will come by and meet the Bowman's and purchase one of their wonderful books.
