A resident at 404 Church Street returned home on February 10 around 10 p.m. and found their back door to their home had been forced open.
Dispatched to the scene, Diboll Police officers found that once inside, actor(s) had removed numerous items from the home. Further investigation revealed that the missing items were in a plastic trash can located outside on the south side of the residence. Officers believe that the victim surprised the would-be burglar(s) in the commission of the crime and the stolen items wer left behind.
Sgt.
