Crystal Berry, 88, of Lufkin, was born November 25, 1918, in Lufkin, Texas, and she died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at her residence.
Services for Mrs. Berry were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor David Walker officiating. Interment followed in the Berry Cemetery.
Mrs. Berry was a homemaker, and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed working with her plants. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her son, James Berry; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Berry and Walter and Alice Berry; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Jones of Lufkin; sister, Doris Reppond of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Gipson Funeral Home, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
