Graveside services for Marvin Cox, 71, of Lufkin were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Campground Cemetery in Tyler County with Rev. James Stephens officiating.
Mr. Cox was born Nov. 28, 1935 in Beaumont and died Thursday, March 1, 2007 in a local hospital.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a carpenter. Survivors: wife of 41 years, Deloris Cox; daughter, Annette Burks; sons, Richard Lynn Miller, Clifford Cox, Mark Cox and Steven Cox; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
