Funeral services for Kaden Orion Day, 5, of Lufkin were held Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Cary Modisett officiating. Interment followed in the Huntington Cemetery.
Kaden was born December 14, 2001 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Lane and Lori (Tinsley) Day, and died Monday, February 26, 2007 at his residence.
Survivors include his parents, Lane and Lori (Tinsley) Day of Lufkin; brothers, Jase Day and James Day, both of Lufkin; sister, Maylee Day of Lufkin; grandparents, David and Sue Tinsley of Huntington, Cleve and Janice Day of Lufkin and Jay and Carol Morelend of Wichita, Kansas; great-grandmother, Claudia Tinsley of Huntington; aunt and uncle, Rita and Jerry Kromer of Huntington; a number of other relatives; and his nurse, Tina Sowell.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Melba Tinsley; great-grandparents, Damon and Addie Coleman and Lamar Tinsley; and aunt, Brooke Tinsley Skidmore.
Pallbearers were Wayne Price and Doug Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Hall and Aaron Anderson. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors, was in charge of the arrangements.
