Michael Dewayne Greene Sr., the son of Fay and Marilyn Sutt Greene, was born in Bernie, Missouri on October 16, 1960, and passed away at the Lufkin, Texas Memorial Specialty Hospital in the Hospice Ward, on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 9:45 p.m. at the age of 46 years.
Mr. Greene was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Essex, Missouri and had been retired from Tyson Foods in Dexter, Missouri where he lived for many years until his death.
He is survived by his parents Fay and Marilyn Greene of Bernie, Missouri; one brother, Steve Greene of Farmington, Missouri; three sisters, Cherie Crabb of Bertrand, Missouri; Janet Baker of Bernie, Missouri; Lisa Ray of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Crystal Greene of Lufkin, Texas; one son, Michael Greene Jr. of Sevierville, Tennesee; one grandaughter, Jasmine Greene of Lufkin, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
A memorial service for Michael Greene was held Sunday, March 11, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Bernie Alliance Church in Bernie, Missouri with Pastor Cletus Patterson Jr. officiating.
