Martha Ann Honea Quarles, 71, of Diboll, was born July 13, 1935, in Sacul, Texas, the daughter of the late Jennie V. (Seelbach) and R. V. Honea. She passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Quarles was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Diboll.
Survivors include her husband of 51-years, Haywood Quarles of Diboll; sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin and Donna Quarles of Angleton and Wiley and Christi Quarles of Diboll; grandchildren, Ashton Quarles, Jenna Quarles, Reed Quarles and Owen Quarles; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Faye Honea of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Eddie Gray, of Diboll; numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Pete Smart, Donald Capps, Tom Williams Sr., Kelly Gray, Don Seelbach, Bruce Honea, J. R. Jonea, Jack Jenkins and Larry Holcomb.
Honorary pallbearers were George Honea II, Tom Williams Jr., and Gary Webb.

Services for Mrs. Quarles were held Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend C. G. “Buster” Grigg officiating. Graveside services followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Part with Reverend Gene Hazell officiating.
Gipson Funeral Home, Randy Scogin, director, was in charge of arrangements.
