Graveside funeral services for Mary Lena Lester, 87, of Lufkin and formerly of Groveton were held at 10 a.m. March 20, at the Mount Zion Cemetery with Bro. Gerald Hollis officiating.
Mrs. Lester was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Trinity County and died March 17, 2007, in Lufkin.
Survivors include daughter, Martha Watkins; brother, Joe Young; sisters, Jesse Beinge and Dorothy Parker; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
