Graveside services for Lewis Ross, 73, of Lufkin, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the Gann Cemetery, with Reverend Elton Musick officiating.
Mr. Ross was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Sallisaw, Okla., and he died Sunday, March 18, 2007, in a local hospital.
He was retired from Lufkin Creosoting Company, where he was employed as a log cutter. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Louise Ross; sons, Lewis Ray Ross, Doug Ross, Terry Lee Ross and Willie Ross; daughter, RoseMary Ross; sisters, Stella Vincent and Polly Clifton; brothers Frank Ross and James “Red” Ross; 12 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
