Ann Trulious, 91, of Lufkin, was born October 23, 1915, in Kaufman, Texas, the daughter of the late Athelene (Duncan) and John Ed Turner. She passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Trulious was retired from Pacific Telephone Company, following more than 30 years of employment. She was a member and past president of the Lufkin Garden Club, was on the Board of First Christian Church, and past president of her Sunday School Class at First Christian Church.
Survivors include her niece, Carol Ann Stephens of Sun Lakes, Arizona; and great-nieces, Sherry Stephens of Mesa, Arizona and Diane Miller of Waco.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trulious was preceded in death by her husband, Albert (Al) Trulious; and sister, Lucille Hanks. Pallbearers were Ralph Vallone, Jim Kennedy, Burnice Blackstock, Dr. Warren Guy, Bob Brown and Jim Riggs. Services for Mrs. Trulious were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mike Hunter, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
