Funeral services for Gordon Dale Bryan, 44, of Huntington were held Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother J.H. Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery. Mr. Bryan was born February 27, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas, to Helen (Ainsworth) and Gordon Denmon Bryan, and died Monday, March 12, 2007 in Massachusetts. He had worked as a mechanic for Southern Chrysler and Lufkin Lincoln-Mercury. Mr. Bryan was a Christian.
Survivors include his son, Corey O'Rear of Mississippi; parents, Gordon and Helen Bryan of Huntington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Carolyn Bryan and Mark and Cindy Bryan, all of Huntington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Guy Anthony, Bart Riley, Darrell Bryan, Tommy Ainsworth, Patric Ainsworth and Richard Powers.
Honorary pallbearers were Lance Crisp, John Bryan, Berlin Bryan, Luther Bryan, Shannon Crisp and Robert Powers.
