Aug. 13, 1915 - Mar. 22, 2007

Eunice Ervin passed away peacefully on March 22, 2007 surrounded by family in Ashland, Oregon.

Born in Luna, Louisiana on August 13, 1915, she was crowned "Miss Junior West Monroe" while in high school. Eunice was married and had two sons, Bill and Jerry, with her first husband before their divorce. She was a bookkeeper with the U.S. Corps of Engineers and an accountant with several firms in Louisiana and Texas.

Eunice married the love of her life, Lynn Ervin, in 1947. Following Lynn's retirement in 1977, Eunice and Lynn moved to Lake Sam Rayburn where they loved to fish and garden. Lynn built a workshop for woodworking and Eunice continued her painting. Her favorite pastimes included ballroom dancing with Lynn, music, bridge, painting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In 1989, they moved to Crown Colony in Lufkin and became active volunteers for local organizations and St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church. Eunice was also a member of several bridge and dance clubs.

Following Lynn's death in July, 2006, Eunice moved to Ashland to be cared for by her daughter.

Sons Jerry and Lynn Jr., brother DeWitt Evans and husband Lynn preceded Eunice in death.
