Hudson proves too much for Lady 'Jacks

The Lumberjacks sit at the edge of their dugout as Cutler Ruby goes up to bat against Hudson's Hunter Rowe. The Lumberjacks attempted to mount a comeback against Rowe but were unable to get the few runs needed to top the Hornets.

Even though the Diboll Ladyjacks pounded out 11 hits against the Lady Hornets of Hudson, it proved to be not enough to take a win.

The Ladyjacks, led by the hitting of Jasmine Lewis who drove in three runs on a homer and another two on a single, fell to the short end of a 22-11 win by the Hornets.

One the night, Tracey Morado added to the count with two doubles and a single with one RBI for Diboll. Chelsea Waters had a triple and a single for two RBIs while Hope Lakey added two singles, one RBI and Natalie DeJesus had a single and an RBI. Danae Lakey also connected for a single.

Krista Holder was the winning pitcher for the Hornets while Tracey Morado took the loss for Diboll.
