Diboll participates in Center tourney; Veliz brings third place medal home

Last Friday, the Diboll High School Tennis Team competed in the annual Roughrider Tennis Tournament in Center.

Miriam Arriola came in placed fourth in girl's singles while Jeremy Veliz won third place and brought back the first medal for a tennis player from Diboll in quite a long time.

The team will now prepare for the district meet to be held Monday April 2.

Heather Weeks, Angelina Ancira, and Daniel Guerrero also represented DHS.

Estaban Gonzales, who is also on the team, was working with one act play cast was unable to participate while another member, Ashley Hines was ill and unable to compete.
