Suspected drug ring thinned by Diboll police

9 arrests made following lengthy investigation

Following an 18-month investigation in connection with a suspected crack cocaine drug ring, Diboll police arrested nine this past weekend.

According to reports, detectives arrested seven on Friday at 429 Robert Williams in Diboll. Marijuana and cocaine residue were found at the scene.

Police made two additional arrests Saturday and filed additional charges against a man who was jailed in March on a parole violation warrant.

Those arrested and charged were: Ernie Terrell Frost, 38, criminal trespass, Marzell Frost, 18, criminal trespass; Vivian Lewis, 47, manufacture/delivery of controlled substance; Natisha Gordon, 35, manufacture/deliver of a controlled substance; John Wayne Smith, 33, possession of a controlled substance; Reginald Bernard Harrell, 33, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance; Bronson Lenard Jackson, 29, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance; Celia Ramirez, 26, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance; and Cleophus Clark, 45, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

Pilip Armstead, 48, the suspect already incarcerated was also charged.
