FANELLE LANSFORD

Fanelle Skipper Lansford, age 80, of Crockett, passed away, Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lansford were held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lansford was preceded in death by husband, Mike M. Lansford, Sr.; parents, John W. Skipper, Sr. and Amanda D. Skipper; brothers, Jesse, Monroe, Charlie and John W. Skipper, Jr.; and sisters, Jewel Friday and Reba Jordan.

Mrs. Lansford was born August 10, 1926 in Trinity and was a lifetime resident of Crockett. She and her husband Mike owned and operated Lansford Refrigeration Service for many years. Mrs. Lansford will be remembered as a kind gentle lady always wanting to help others in need and also for her love of African Violets. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Mission currently serving as treasurer and bookkeeper.

Survivors include children, Kathryn Louise Ward and husband, Al of Crockett; Mike McCarty Lansford, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Huntsville; Nita Anne Reed and husband, Glynn of Crockett; Carolyn Sue Bruner Cerbo and husband, Robert of Lufkin; grandchildren, Amanda Louise Walling and husband, Theron of Crockett; Audra Leigh Ainsworth and husband, Patric of Lufkin; Alfred Michael Ward of Houston, Lacy LeaAnne Lansford of San Antonio, John Marcus Harkins and wife, April of Lufkin; Jason Wayne Lansford of Tyler, Megan Lucile Bruner of Lufkin, Lisa Floyd of Grapeland, Timothy Reed and wife, Stephanie of Grapeland; Jeffrey Cerbo of Las Vegas, Nevada, David Cerbo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christine Bonnono and husband, Jim of East Rutherford, New Jersey; Jeff Attaway and wife, Karen of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Barrett Steed, Bradley McLendon and Cole Walling, Connor Ainsworth, Adam Ainsworth and wife, Nelly and Zach Ainsworth and wife, Heather; Wesley, Max and Hannah Harkins, Lindsey and Ashley Floyd, Haylee Renee Reed, Katie Isabel, Sarah and Katie Attaway; great-great-grandsons, Sean Ainsworth and Dominic Powell; sister-in-law, Hope Skipper of Nacogdoches; brother-in-law, John F. Lansford and wife, Clara Bow of Beeville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Callaway-Allee Funeral Home, Crockett, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
