Candious Marjorie Nash, 92, of Diboll, was born February 4, 1915, in Newton, Texas, the daughter of the late Florida Emeline (Cobb) and Robert Cleveland Windham, Sr. She passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Nash was homemaker, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a past Den Mother of the Cub Scouts and past secretary and member of the Diboll PTA. Mrs. Nash was a member and past Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Diboll.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donialin and Robert R. Martin, Jr. of Diboll; son and daughter-in-law, Louis M. and Joanne Nash of Houston; grandchildren, Vickie McCurry, Robert B. Perry, Rhondah Patton, Cy Perry, Levi A. Nash and Jared M. Nash; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one niece; four nephews; and numerous other family members. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Nash; daughter, Gladys Vaughdean Nash; and son, Robert C. Perry.
Graveside services for Mrs. Nash were held at Sunday, April 15, 2007, in the Ford Cemetery in Newton, Texas, with Bro. Benny Dominey officiating.
Gipson Funeral Home; Philip Snead, Director, was in charge of arrangements.
