Charles Van Albin, 64, passed away April 5, 2007. He was born July 21, 1942, in Watonga, OK and grew up in Wellington, Kansas, graduating from Wellington High School in 1961, and had lived in Lufkin for the past 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie; father, Laverne; stepmother, Mildred; and half-brother, Jon.
He is survived by numerous cousins.
He was a businessman and avid outdoorsman. He was a wonderful friend to many and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service was held Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 1209 John Redditt Drive.
