Chester A. Covington was born July 9, 1929 in Diboll and died April 13, 2007 at Centinela Park Nursing Home in Inglewood, CA.

He was laid to rest at Inglewood Park Cemetery, MGM Mausoleum, in Inglewood, CA on Friday, April 20, 2007.

Survivors: daughters, Beryl Moses, Sarah Covington; sons, Edwin Covington, Gary; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

Inglewood Mortuary, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
