JOHN LYNCH

Aug. 23, 1928 - April 20, 2007

John Henry Lynch, 78, of Huntington, was born August 23, 1928, in Egypt, San Augustine County, Texas, the son of the late Lula Mae (Cooper) and Roy Dick Lynch. He passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007, in a Lufkin hospice facility.

retired Dispatcher for Texas Foundry, following 60 years of service. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Lynch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Florence Lynch of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Dianne Lynch Livingston and Ricky Livingston of Center, Bonnie J. and Michael Baiamonte of Houston; son, Richard A. Butler of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, James R. and Ozeda Lynch of Nacogdoches, William Hughie "Bill" and Helen Lynch of San Antonio; sisters and brother-in-law, Lillian Mildred Johnson of Houston, Ira Lee of Corsicana, Ila Mae and Jim Whitley of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, Wesley Livingston, Bryan Livingston, Jason Cochran, Justin Cochran, Joseph Cochran, Joseph Butler and Michelle Butler; ten great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding Mr. Lynch in death were his parents; his son, John Lynch, Jr.; great grandson, Gregory Scott Livingston; and brother, Guy Lunch.

Pallbearers were Jason Cochran, Justin Cochran, Joseph Cochran, Richard Butler, Bryan Livingston and Wesley Livingston.

Services for Mr. Lynch were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Chumley and Tim Lynch officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home. Gipson Funeral Home; Charles R.
