Graveside services for Joseph Bryce "Joey" Avera, infant, of Diboll were held Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Forest Haven Cemetery with Reverend William S. Slight officiating.
Joseph was born April 27, 2007, in Shreveport, La., to Julia Krystina Esteves and Austin Wade Avera, and died Friday, April 27, 2007, at Christus-Schumpert Hospital, in Shreveport.
Survivors include his parents, Krysti Esteves and Austin Avera of Diboll; maternal grandmother, Janie Esteves of Diboll; maternal grandfather, Eddie Esteves, of Lufkin; paternal grandparents, Tina and Jimmie Avera of Lufkin; maternal great-grandparents, Tina and Ramiro Diaz, and Julia and Roy Esteves all of Diboll; paternal great grandparents, Ronald and Susan Streetman of Conroe; and numerous other relatives. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors, were in charge of arrangements.
