Former Lady Jack returns to coach at old stomping ground

Former Diboll Lady Jack Cassi Lenderman has found her way back to Lady Jack country in the form of a coach. Lenderman who played her high school ball at Diboll High School from 1995 - 99 will be returning as a member of the Diboll Coaching Staff this Fall.

While at Diboll Lenderman was a four year starter on the Basketball team and earned all district awards in her sophomore through senior years. She played Volleyball all four years, three on Varsity. She played Softball her freshman and sophomore years on Varsity, and Varisty Tennis her junior and senior years

Lenderman is a 2004 graduate of Texas State University-San Marcos, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Health.

She is entering her fourth year as a coach spending time in Anahuac and Bryan before coming home to Diboll. "I have always known that I wanted to be a coach. I love sports and playing them and being active," she tells.

Lenderman has already been on sight to meet the girls inn the athletics program, and has assisted in some workout drills with volleybll player's already. " I have a passion for kids to help develop them to be not only great athletes but great people," she said.

Her parents are, Dennis and Karon Lenderman of Diboll. Her mother works at the Primary school in the library and computer lab, while her father owns Lenderman's welding. Her older sister, Ashley, lives in Diboll with her husband and 2 daughters. "I am really looking forward to spending some time with my nieces" Lenderman said. And finally her brother, Zach, who will graduate from Diboll High this year and will start college in the fall.

Lenderman is sure to be a vital member of the Diboll Coaching Staff nest season.
