The Angelina College baseball program will once again host several evaluation camps this summer, with two of those held by major league teams.
Players hoping to move on to the collegiate and/or professional levels are encouraged to attend an evaluation camp.
Skills evaluated include arm strength, fielding, 60 speed and hitting for position players. Pitchers will throw from a bullpen for their evaluations.
The camps begin on June 7th with the Angelina College camp. The fee is $10.
On June 11th the Houston Astros will host the camp; and on June 13th the Baltimore Orioles will do the evaluating.
The camps wrap up on June 21st with another Angelina College camp.
Again, the fee for the camp will be $10.
All camps will begin at 9 a.m., with registration 45 minutes prior to starting time.
