Suspects, info sought in auto damage case

On June 18, 2007, Diboll Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Pinecrest in reference to a criminal mischief complaint to a motor vehicle.

The ensuing investigation found that during the early morning of the 18th between 12:30 a.m. - 7:30 am, unknown suspect(s) took a sharp instrument and wrote a racial slur and the word POLICE into the paint of the victims 2004 Dodge truck. There was also numerous scrapes along both sides, the hood, and a truck bed cover.

Suspect(s) also used a blunt object to cause damage by striking the vehicle numerous times causing several dents on the vehicle.

The damage sustained to this vehicle is estimated at $4,300.
