Services for Mandy Laura Brooks, 80, of Corrigan, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Corrigan with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Burial followed in Union Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks was born April 27, 1927 in Possum Walk and died June 13, 2007 in Lufkin. She was retired from Corrigan ISD. Survivors: son, William Brooks Jr.; daughter, Laura Brooks; brother, Frank Allsbrooks; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
