The first-even Diboll Police Association Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Neches Pines Golf Course in Diboll.
A shotgun start is set for 8 a.m.
This will be a four-man scramble with entry fee of $50 per person of $200 per team.
Proceeds will benefit the Diboll Police Association and Officer Don Mitchell. Mitchell was hit by an uninsured, drunk driver while making a traffic stop causing permanent injury and as a result, Mitchell will never be able to return to his duties.
First, second and third place teams will receive plaques. Lunch and door prizes for participants.
