Graveside services for Landon Gene Evett, 3 months, of Huntington will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Treadwell Cemetery with Brother Randall Evett officiating. Landon was born March 2, 2007 in Lufkin, Texas, to Sarah (Triana) Mitchell and Bruce Edwin Evett, Jr., and died Monday, June 18, 2007 in a local hospital. Survivors include his parents, Sarah Mitchell and Bruce Evett, Jr. of Huntington; sister, Chloe Mitchell of Huntington; grandparents, Johnny and Susan Gutierrez of Magnolia and Bruce, Sr. and Angie Evett of Huntington; great-grandparents, Les and Evelyn Moncrief of Huntington, Bob and Shirley Mosley of Lufkin, Dempsey Evett of Zavalla, Pauline Spinks of Corsicana, Jose, Sr. and Marisela Gutierrez of Crystal City and Charles Triana of Nacogdoches; and a number of other relatives.
