Funeral services for Billie L. Wagner, 82, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Fatheree officiating. Interment will follow in the Freeman Cemetery. Mrs. Wagner was born June 10, 1925 in Hudson, Angelina County, Texas, to Lena Viola (Foster) and Johnny Rouse, and died Monday, June 18, 2007 in a local hospital. She resided in Angelina County most of her life, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William M. L. Wagner of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Lori Williams of Mansfield, Bob and Patricia Himmelreich of Winnemucca, Nevada and Michael and Shawn Wagner of Sweeny; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Rouse; mother, Lena (Foster) Rouse Williams; and stepfather, H. T. "Bud" Williams. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
