Funeral services for Jose M. Luna Sr., 69, of Diboll, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2007 in the Iglesia Cristiana Bautista Church with Reverend Juan Moreno officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Luna was employed with Iglesia Cristiana Bautista Church of which is was a member. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Isabel Luna of Diboll; sons, Jose Antonio Luna, Jose M. Luna Jr., Elias Luna, all of Diboll, and Gerardo Luna of Houston; daughters, Amparo Luna of Lufkin, Yesenia Franco of Greenville, Irma Sanchez of Lufkin and Celia Luna of Lufkin; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Ingesia Cristiana Bautista Church, 2207 E. Lufkin Avenue, Lufkin.
