Funeral services for David Marlon Havard, 33, of Montgomery were held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Shawnee Church with Brother Cary Modisett officiating. Interment followed in the Tom Havard Cemetery.
Mr. Havard was born June 5, 1974 in Lufkin, Texas, to Wynn and Pam (Norris) Havard, and died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A former resident of Huntington, Mr. Havard had lived in Montgomery for the past three years. He was a rig manager for Nabors Drilling.
Survivors include his wife, Jana Havard of Montgomery; son, David Colton Havard of Montgomery; daughter, Morgan Anne Havard of Montgomery; parents, Wynn and Pam Havard of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Amy Havard of Huntington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Amanda and Jason Skinner of Huntington and Charlene and Hulon Walker of Iowa; grandmother, Gladys Wideman of Huntington; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carryl and Tommy Carrell of Zavalla; father-in-law, Danny Kitchens, Sr. of Pollok; grandmother-in-law, Betty Poland of Zavalla; brothers-in-law, Danny Kitchens, Jr. and Joel Kitchens, both of Pollok; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
