Graveside services for Pieter Aris Jansen, 87, of Lufkin, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Rev. Horace Fletcher officiating.
Mr. Jansen was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Benkoelen, Indonesia and died Thursday, June 28, 2007, in a Lufkin hospital. He was retired from Lufkin Industries, following 19 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa E. Jansen; son, Maurits Jansen; daughter, Ivonne Hunt; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
