Misty Brown Walters, 38, of Omaha, Nebraska, was born March 14, 1969, in Bountiful, Utah, the daughter of Sandra (Andrew) and Billy Brown. She passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Services for Misty were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2007, in the Mount Hope Cemetery Tabernacle with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment followed in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Wells.
Misty was the assistant manager for Midwest Check Cashing. She was also a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister. Misty had lived in Omaha, Nebraska, for the past eleven years, and was a former resident of Lufkin.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Walters of Omaha; her children, Tiffany Nichole Skare, Kathey Lynn Brown and Shawn Anthony Smith, all of Omaha; father, Billy Brown of Lufkin; mother, Sandra Wixom of Ogden, Utah; sisters, Jan Hendrickson of Bountiful, Utah, Carla Bradford of Spring Branch, and Randy Martin of Ogden, Utah; aunt and uncles, Opal and James Allee, and Alfred Brown, all of Lufkin; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Preceding Misty in death was her daughter, Brittany Diane Baker.
Pallbearers wereBobby Bradford, Brandon Bradford, Derrick Attaway, Daryl Attaway, David Goff and Danny Brown.
