It is with great sadness that the family of Edwin Lee HOOT "Ed" announces his passing on Tuesday July 3, 2007, at the age of 81 years in Greeley. Ed was born in Winnie Texas on November 28, 1925.
Ed was a longtime resident of Diboll, Monroe, LA and Anahuac, TX, only living in Greeley for four years. Ed loved his family, his computer, his tomato garden and in earlier years his fishing trips.
Ed will be loving remembered by "the love of his life" his wife of 58 years, Pearl, and his daughters Linda Haynes, Jan Martin, Anne Hoot and Susan McCoy. Grandpa or Papa will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren. Edwin is also survived by his brother William F. Hoot.
A celebration of life will be held for immediate family.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
