Services for Mr. Doris B. Berry, 66, of the East Liberty Community in Center, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Greater Shilo Baptist Church in Lufkin with Rev. Lonnie Williams officiating. Interment followed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Cedar Grove Community.
Mr. Berry was a long time employee for the City of Lufkin, working with the street department for several years. He died July 14, 2007 at his residence.
Survivors include his mother, Arbizene Berry of Lufkin; wife, Brenda Suell Berry of Center; sons and daughters-in-law, MarKeith and Tiffany Suell of San Augustine; Ricky and Keitha Berry of Lufkin; son, Steffon Ray Berry of Huntsville; daughters, Von Necia Suell Hayes of Nacogdoches, Sharon Berry of Lufkin, Toni Woodson of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia and Elroy Moore of Lufkin, Vinnie and Leo Daniels of Lufkin; sister, Gloria Berry of Pearth Amboy, NJ; brother and sister-in-law, James Ray and Pearl Berry of Pearth Amboy, NJ.
