Tessie Lou Fears Biggs, 97, of Pineland (formerly of Diboll), went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.
She was born March 22, 1910, in Mt. Enterprise, Texas, the daughter of the late Addie (Milstead) and Barton Peters. Tessie was a member of the Pineland Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her passion was cooking, quilting and growing flowers; and her mission in life was to love her family with all her heart. She fulfilled her mission with great joy. Her children arise up, and call her blessed. Proverbs 31:28.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Sherrel and Peggy Fears of Pineland; stepdaughter, Diane Reese of Kilgore; grandchildren, Hubert Wells, Joan McClendon and husband R. D., and Barbara Camp; great-grandchildren, Paige Seidenberger and husband Russell, Angie Collmorgen and husband David, and Chris Wells and wife Christel; great-great grandchildren, Clayton and Kate Collmorgen, Rebecca Fenton and Presley Wells; special friends, Lois Oden and Johnett Smith; and many more loving family members and friends. Pallbearers will be R. D. McClendon, Chris Wells, David Collmorgen, Russell Seidenberger, Bill Whittington and John Fenton.
Services for Tessie were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ron Herring and Don Falke officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
