Services for Mrs. Sammie M. Gambrell will be held at noon Wednesday in the Church of the Living God, PGT in Diboll with Bishop Perry Dixon Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Diboll Cemetery.

Mrs. Gambrell was born Dec. 4, 1924 in Diboll and died July 19, 2007 in Lufkin.

Survivors: daughters, Glenda Butler, Johnnie Dixon, Peggy Pool; son, Rev. Johnny Gambrell Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
