Services for Larry Eugene "Bo" Welch, Jr., 23, of Diboll, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007, in the Faith Family Church, with Bro. Vic Bass and Bro. C. G. "Buster" Grigg officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Haven Cemetery.
Bo was born September 12, 1983, in Lufkin, Texas, and he passed away Monday, July 16, 2007, at his residence. Bo loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and riding his 4-wheeler. He had a great love for animals, and was a great wood craftsman.
Survivors include his sons, Rance Lloyd Welch of Kingwood and William Henry Joe Welch of Diboll; fiancee, Tammi Wood of Diboll; mother and father, Connie and Larry Welch, Sr. of Diboll; sister and brother-in-law, Daisy and Bryan Franklin of Lufkin; nephew, Taylor Franklin of Lufkin; maternal grandparents, Emmett and Marie Ward of Diboll; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.
Bo was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Welch and Charlene and Jack Brewer.
Pallbearers were Preston Moody, Lee McMullen, Little Bo Smith, Mark Vasquez, Freddy Vasquez, Jonathan Kee, Darrell Lawson, Pork Chop Thompson, Jimmy Young and Billy Ray Conner.
Honorary pallbearerswere Bo Smith, Charles Welch, B. J. Brewer, Jared Hough, and a host of friends.
