120 residents participating in annual garage sales at Rocky Hill Community this Saturday, Aug. 4

The annual Rocky Hill Community Garage Sale Day will be held Saturday, August 4 starting at 7 a.m. and running until 3 p.m. or until residents sell out and close their sale.

Over 120 families will be displaying their wares at participating homes throughout the Rocky Hill Community which is located approximately 8 miles east of Lufkin off and on SH103E.

Signs marking the route will be highly visible along the roadways and maps showing the route throughout the community will be available at numerous businesses in the area.

Map locations include Brooks Grocery, 103E approximately one mile past the paper mill; Sue's Country Store, 103E at Rocky Hill; Lowery's Grocery, Etoile; Little Boots, The Tobacco Shop, and Nuway, Huntington; Coleman's and Little Gal's, Zavalla and The Tobacco Shop, Central.

Concessions, restrooms, picnic area, an emergency station and more will be available throughout the day at the garage sale headquarters, located centrally in the community. Watch for directional signs.

Residents helping sponsor the sale will display a special sign on their mailbox designating their sale as an official sale home.
