Blood Center to bring mobile unit to Diboll branch First Bank & Trust
If it is August, then it must be Blue Bell Month! All those who donate or attempt to donate at any of The Blood Center East Texas' Neighborhood Donor Centers or mobile blood drives during the month of August, will receive a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream. It's a great way to help save up to three lives and walk out with a sweet treat from the little creamery in Brenham. Coupons can be redeemed at your local grocer.
Summer is an especially important time for donations, since many donors go on vacation or become busy and often don't make time to donate. However, the need remains constant. Those who Commit for Life and donate at least once a quarter help maintain an adequate blood supply for our region.
The mobile unite will be at the First Bank and Trust, 104 North Temple in Diboll on August 24, 2007 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Call Sonia Arellano at 829-4721 or go to www.givebloodet.org. for an appointment.
