Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Ann Lewis are scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Reapers of the Harvest Crusade Ministries with Pastor Kendrick Morris and Bishop Perry Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Lewis was born May 24, 1941 in Lufkin and died Aug. 11, 2007 in Lufkin. Survivors: sisters, Peggie (Oscar) Dixon of Lufkin, Kimberly Brown of Houston; special god-sons, La Trayvion Wilson and Marvelous Napoleon; step-son, Ray Charles Lewis of Gulf Port, Miss.; special brothers, Theron Belton, Larry Wofford; three aunts, two uncles; a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Lewis; parents, Joe D. Kemp and Alma Tims-Kemp. Colonial Mortuary, directors.
