Gail Erdine Oglesby, 69, of Lufkin, was born August 19, 1937, in Auburn, Maine, the daughter of the late Alvena (Hodsdon) and Earle Nickerson, Sr. She passed away Friday, August 17, 2007, at her residence.
Gail was a homemaker, and had also worked in the Trailer Division of Lufkin Industries for 10 years. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and glassware from her many outings to flea markets. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy Jr. and Alyson Oglesby of Tyler; daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Jimmy Torres of Lufkin; daughter, Kerri Wells of Huntington; son, Rony Oglesby of Panama City, Florida; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; dear friend and former spouse, Roy Oglesby of Lufkin; good friends, Terry Denton, Faye Leubner, Pauline Hackler; and many other friends and relatives.
Gail was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Garza; and brother, Earle Nickerson, Jr.
Memorial services for Gail will be announced at a later date.
