Funeral services for Danny Causer, 38, of Lufkin were held Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. A.W. Wright and Brother Vic Bass officiating. Military graveside services followed in the Largent Cemetery.
Mr. Causer was born June 27, 1969 in Germany, to an American soldier, Fred Causer and his wife, Monika Causer. He joined his Lord and Savior Friday, August 24, 2007. Mr. Causer grew up in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and currently resided in Santa Fe, Texas. He served and retired with honors from the U.S. Army. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend, touching everyone he ever met. Mr. Causer was a member of the Faith Family Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tracey Causer of Lufkin; daughters, Jocelyn Causer and Brianna Causer, both of Lufkin; mother and stepfather, Monika and Jeff Johann of West Virginia; father, Fred Causer of Pennsylvania; brothers, John Causer of West Virginia, Jim Causer of Georgia and Mark Causer of West Virginia; nieces, Crystal Causer, Stephanie Johnson, Melanie Johnson and Elaina Brewer; nephews, Brendan Causer, Wesley Causer, Martin Causer and Tyler Causer; and numerous other friends and family.
Pallbearers were members of the Military Honor Guard.
