Memorial services for Marie Russell Deal, 81, of Lufkin were held Saturday, September 8, 2007 at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church with Reverend Doug Tucker officiating.
Mrs. Deal was born October 7, 1925 in Huntington, to the late Beulah "Effie" (McCoy) and Thomas L. Russell, and died Monday, September 3, 2007 in Plymouth, Indiana. She lived in Lufkin and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Slaydon of Plymouth, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Cary and Kathy Deal of Lufkin; grandchildren: Cody Deal of Texarkana, Brianne and Mike Carbery of Houston and Matthew Slaydon of Plymouth, IN; sister-in-law, Christine Russell of Lufkin.
Mrs. Deal was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Morris Deal, on October 2, 2003 and her brother, Ed Russell.
